  • Abstract:

    To study the effect of biocolloid dispersant combined with soft silicone dressing on stage III pressure ulcers in middle-aged and elderly patients. Methods: 210 middle-aged and elderly patients with stage III pressure ulcers were divided into observation group (118 cases) and control group (92 cases). The control group received routine nursing care, and the observation group, on the basis of routine nursing care, swabbed the wound and surrounding skin with biocolloid dispersant at the site prone to pressure ulcers and applied soft silicone dressing to the wound.Results: In the observation group, only 9.32% of the patients had pressure sore, the bacterial positive rate was 0.92% after 10 days of treatment, the pain positive rate was 16.9%, and the healing time was about 16 days. The excellent and good rate of scar after wound healing was 100%, and the cure rate was 99.15%. The rate of bacterial positive and pain positive was 14.63% and 63.9%, respectively. The healing time was about 27 days. The rate of good and good scar after wound healing was 22.08% and the cure rate was 85.88%.Conclusion: The combination of biocolloid dispersant and soft silicone dressing has a significant effect on the treatment of stage III pressure ulcers in middle-aged and elderly patients, with a rapid cure rate and less pain.
