  • Abstract:

Objective: To understand the anxiety, depression and quality of life of patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications, and to improve the psychological resilience, self-esteem and adaptability of patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications by using the intervention program of acceptance commitment therapy. Methods: From March 2018 to July 2018, a total of 196 patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications in our hospital for 5 months were selected as the research objects, and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 98 samples each. The control group received routine clinical nursing intervention, while the observation group received nursing intervention guided by acceptance and commitment therapy on the basis of routine clinical nursing. Results: The psychological resilience, adaptive level and self-care ability of patients were evaluated before and after 5 months of intervention. The incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications, anxiety and depression in the observation group were lower, and the quality of life was higher. Conclusion: Applying the intervention program of acceptance and commitment therapy to the nursing of patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications can significantly improve their self-esteem, alleviate their psychological barriers and promote their postoperative social adaptation.
