• Abstract:

  Objective: To explore the effective application of pueraria root and its extract in the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and to summarize the efficacy of pueraria root and its extract in the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases through the study of clinical cases, so as to provide reference for clinical medication safety. Methods: According to the inclusion and exclusion principle, 123 patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases diagnosed in our hospital from January 2018 to October 2018 were selected and randomly divided into two groups using the number table method. Patients in the western medicine group were treated with conventional western medicine according to their types of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The patients in the traditional Chinese medicine group were treated with pueraria root and its extract, and then the effective rate of drug treatment was compared between the two groups. Results: According to the data comparison, the clinical treatment effective rate of patients in the western medicine group was 76.81%, and the clinical treatment effective rate of patients in the Chinese medicine group was 92.34%. Conclusion: Through the clinical intervention of 123 patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, it is concluded that pueraria root and its extract have good pharmacological value and clinical efficacy in the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, and can be used as the first choice for clinical treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
