  • Abstract:

Objective To further study the correlation between cold air and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and its influencing mechanism, so as to better prevent the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Methods Inclusion criteria for the case group: the permanent population aged 45-65 years in the experimental area, who live within 200 meters from the monitoring point, adhere to outdoor activities for more than 2 hours every day, adhere to morning exercises and evening walks, smokeless alcohol addiction, cerebral thrombosis, cerebral haemorrhage, coronary heart disease, hypertension and other cardiovascular and cerebrovascular patients who have not taken drugs for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in recent three days. Inclusion criteria for the control group: in the same community, the same number of healthy people were selected according to the same inclusion conditions and the residents' health records of that year. Results During the transit of moderate cold air, the whole blood viscosity of the case group was low, the erythrocyte aggregation index and rigidity index increased from 3.1 and 5.4 before the transit to 3.4 and 6.2, and the control group from 2.2 and 4.5 to 3.0 and 5.7; The erythrocyte electrophoresis index of the case group increased from 4.2 to 5.1, and the difference was statistically significant (P0.05). Conclusion The impact of cold air activity on patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and healthy people is different in time and degree. Due to their good adaptability to environmental changes and their own regulatory function, healthy people can recover or tend to be normal in a short time after cold air transit.
