  • Abstract:

Objective: To analyze the influence of high salt food on human cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and understand the burden of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Methods: Using the disease burden framework model, the data of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in X city in 2021 were statistically analyzed. According to the amount of high salt food and sodium content of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular patients, the population attributable score of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease patients in the state of high salt food was analyzed. The impact of high salt food on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases was obtained, and the disease attributable disease burden was analyzed. SPSS 19.0 software was used for independent sample t-test, and SAS 9.4 software was used to calculate the burden of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Results: The intake of high salt food for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular patients in X city aged 20 years and above reached 800g/d, of which the intake of sodium reached (6829.31 ± 2927.02) mg/d. In 2021, the death toll of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in X City will reach 42123, and the disability adjusted life years will only be 525180.62 person years. SPSS 19.0 software analysis shows that among the death cases of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, the PAF attributable to high salt food is 25.56%, and the number of deaths attributable to high salt food is about 10767; When the per capita sodium intake exceeded 3238 mg/d, the PAF of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease death increased sharply. Conclusion: When the intake of high salt food is too high, it will affect the burden of patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
