  • Abstract:

Objective To study the mechanism and preventive measures of elbow joint injury in Taiji push hand exercise. Methods Taking the Taiji pusher of Beijing Institute of Physical Education as the research object, the elbow joint angle was measured with a joint goniometer, and the elbow reaction force and elbow flexor muscle force were calculated; Through questionnaire survey, we know the elbow joint injury of athletes; By theoretical analysis, the structure and mechanism of correct and wrong movements of athletes are analyzed. Results The probability of elbow joint injury was 60.00%, and 61.11% of athletes were injured twice; The acute injuries of elbow joint accounted for 53.30%, the injuries of ulnar collateral ligament and olecranon accounted for 23.33% and 20.00% respectively; The changes of elbow joint reaction force and elbow flexor muscle force were positive. Conclusion The injury of elbow joint in Tai Chi push hand exercise is closely related to Tai Chi push hand technique, the old injury of elbow joint not healed, and lack of other factors; After the Tai Chi Push Hands exercise, the reaction force of the elbow joint and the elbow flexor muscle force of the athletes increased. The elbow joint was worn seriously after the Tai Chi Push Hands exercise for a long time, which led to the chronic fatigue of the elbow joint and the injury of the elbow joint. The correct mastery of Taiji hand pushing technique and the formulation of reasonable exercise intensity can prevent elbow joint injury.
